she:works supports women at different stages of their working lives – through career guidance, qualification, professional development, training and career change.
Every woman’s career path is different. That’s why there is no single “right” path at she:works. We provide services for different situations and goals, helping women build on their strengths and shape their working lives on their own terms.
These include career center, youngFBZ, young talents, academy, qualification and business services. Each area has its own focus, but they share one goal: creating and expanding career opportunities.
Three locations. One shared goal.
she:works operates at three locations in Linz. Each has its own focus and services – together, they make up she:works.
VFQ became she:works.
The roots of she:works go back to 1988. Today’s organisation developed step by step from the long-standing work of VFQ – Verein für Frauen und Qualifikation.
Over the years, new services, target groups and areas of work were added. VFQ became she:works – with a new shared identity and a broader range of services, but the same purpose: empowering women and creating career opportunities.
A lot has changed. Our purpose has not.
